The Tat Days Conference conducted by the Palmetto Tatters Guild of Columbia, SC is always a joy to attend. In 2013, it was also my first time teaching. Held at the Georgia Baptist Conference Center of Toccoa, GA, the event brings together tatters from around the US, Canada, Mexico and Europe. It’s always an opportunity to make new friends, learn new techniques and acquire the books, threads and tools with a definite “hands on” appeal.

The preparations for teaching were definite time-consuming activities, but so well worth it.
